Family Advisory Council
The Family Advisory Council, or FAC, provides a forum for DODD to hear directly from family members about the issues that affect their lives and provides the opportunity to learn more about the department's current initiatives from executive staff.
The FAC is guided in collaboration with a core group of family members and people with disabilities. The purpose of the FAC Core Group is to strengthen family leadership and ownership of FAC meetings and offer guidance and input to DODD about the FAC. The core group is made up of 12 members who reflect cultural and racial diversity, as well as diversity of disabilities across the lifespan.
FAC meetings take place quarterly and are open to everyone. Meetings are held 10 AM to 3 PM at different venues in Columbus. View upcoming FAC meetings.
