Learn how to become a DODD-certified direct service provider for people with developmental disabilities.
Providers of services to people with developmental disabilities may be self-employed — called independent providers — or agencies. DODD certifies both agency and independent providers of services. Applicants must meet qualifications, pay a non-refundable fee, and include supporting documentation with their application.
An individual or agency is prohibited from providing any service until certification is obtained from DODD.
