Ohio ISP Workgroup
The ISP Workgroup was created to develop and implement a single assessment and template that will be used for all people receiving developmental disabilities services in Ohio.

Home and Community-Based Services Settings
When providers are certified by DODD they attest that they will comply with the requirements of Medicaid, which include requirements for integration and inclusion.
Office of System Support and Standards
The Office of System Support and Standards conducts compliance reviews in licensed waiver funded settings, unlicensed waiver-funded settings, licensed intermediate care facilities, and with county boards of developmental disabilities.

Provider-Owned Housing
In its Community Integration Rule, CMS requires that provider-owned and provider-controlled homes have a lease or comparable rental agreement with the people living in those homes.

Heightened Scrutiny
Providers that self-identify as being located at an isolating location but believe their services overcome that barrier can request a special review of their site.
County Board Accreditation
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities conducts an accreditation review of each county board of developmental disabilities at least once every three years to review compliance with applicable statutes and rules.
