The Office of System Support and Standards (OSSAS) is responsible for:

• Support and assistance to enhance the culture of service coordination and individual-driven service planning and support
  • Development of the statewide assessment and ISP 
  • System support related to service and support administrators (SSA), Qualified Intellectual Disability Professionals (QIDP), and those who supervise them
• Regulatory reviews of county boards, waiver providers, and licensed facilities
  • Routine reviews conducted once during each certification or term of accreditation/licensure
  • Special reviews conducted as a result of complaints, MUIs, or concerns related to health and welfare
  • Includes oversight of regulatory reviews conducted by county boards
• Provider support
  • Technical assistance to providers
  • Ongoing contact with county board Provider Support liaisons
