Restrictive Measures Notification (RMN) Reports Now Live

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities has developed 11 new RMN reports for County Boards, ICFs, and DCs that develop Restrictive Measures. These reports are intended to help users with analyzing RMN data and fulfilling the requirements within the Annual Analysis.

For County Board Users, these reports have replaced the previous reports and can be found in the same location within the RMN application:

For ICFs and DCs, these reports can be located in the Portal, at the top of your Dashboard: 

The reports include:

  1. Annual Report – Target Behaviors
    1. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of each type of Target Behavior (Physical Aggression Towards Others, Stealing, Transportation Safety, Inappropriate Sexual Behavior, Sexual Offending, Self-Injurious, Other) for Submitted Entries
    2. Can assist with fulfilling the requirements within the Annual Analysis
  2. Annual Report – Type Counts
    1. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of the Type of Entries (Initials, Revisions/ReRevisions, Annuals/ReAnnuals, Discontinued) for Submitted Entries
    2. Has drill down capabilities to the Individual RMN Entry level
    3. Can assist with fulfilling the requirements within the Annual Analysis
  3. Annual Report – Parent RMN
    1. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of the “Parent” Restrictive Measures (Manual, Mechanical, Chemical, Rights Restrictions, Time Out) for Submitted Entries
    2. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of people
    3. Can assist with fulfilling the requirements within the Annual Analysis
  4. Annual Report – Strategy Durations
    1. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of the “Child” Restrictive Measures of the “Parent” Restrictive Measures for submitted entries (ex. Baskethold, Escort, Restraint of 1 appendage, etc.…)
    2. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of people
    3. Has drill down capabilities to the Individual RMN Entry level
    4. Can assist with fulfilling the requirements within the Annual Analysis
  5. Annual Report – Discontinued Entries
    1. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of those RMN Entries that have been Discontinued, along with the reasons why the Entry was Discontinued for Submitted Entries
    2. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of people with Discontinued RMNs
    3. Has drill down capabilities to the Individual RMN Entry level
    4. Can assist with fulfilling the requirements within the Annual Analysis
  6. Individual RMN History Report
    1. Allows the RMN User to see all RMN Entries that an individual has had entered within the application (based upon your security role)
    2. Ability to see both Draft and Submitted Entries
  7. Age Report
    1. Identifies the overall Average Age for each “Parent” Restrictive Measure (Chemical, Manual, Mechanical, Rights Restrictions, Time Out) for Submitted Entries
    2. Identifies the specific age of the individual at the time of the Entry
    3. Average age based upon each Entry (may include multiple entries)
    4. Has drill down capabilities to the Individual RMN Entry level
  8. Discontinued Target Behaviors Report
    1. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of those RMN Entries that have had a Target Behavior Discontinued for Submitted Entries
    2. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of Entry Types and counts of people
    3. Has drill down capabilities to the Individual RMN Entry level
  9. Expiring RMN Entries Report
    1. Allows the RMN User to see RMN Entries that are going to expire within the next 90 days for Submitted Entries
    2. Allows the RMN User to see RMN Entries that have expired and are still within the 60-day grace period for Submitted Entries
  10. Drafts Anomaly Report
    1. Allows the RMN User to identify RMN Entries in Draft Status
    2. Assists the RMN User with data clean-up
    3. Has drill down capabilities to the Individual RMN Entry level
  11. Implementers Report
    1. Allows the RMN User to identify Providers that are implementing Restrictive Measures for Submitted Entries
    2. Assists with obtaining aggregated counts of those Implementers and people
    3. Has drill down capabilities to the Individual RMN Entry level
