Updated Guidance: Technical Assistance, DC Admissions

DODD would like to share this Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) catchment map for technical assistance (TA). DODD requests that you contact the CRC assigned to your county as quickly as possible if your team would like assistance.

TA can be requested for anyone receiving services in the state’s developmental disabilities system and focuses on assisting people with disabilities to be successful in their community.

If the person is still in crisis after the completion of a TA and implementing the recommendations, the county can contact the developmental center (DC) program director to request a short-term county board-funded stabilization admission using this revised DC catchment map.

Tiffin Developmental Center will temporarily only be admitting youth ages 10 to 17 for stabilization effective January 1, 2020. Current residents at Tiffin DC will not be moved, and the other seven DCs will continue to offer short-term, county board-funded stabilization admissions per the new catchment map.
