Acuity Assessment Instrument

The Acuity Assessment Instrument compares how much support a person needs to get around, to take part in activities, or to communicate with other people in similar services.

Even people who do not have day services paid for through a waiver can take part in an AAI assessment to make sure they are getting the same level of support as people with waiver services.

Service and support administrators of county board of developmental disabilities are responsible for completing the AAI assessment.
