The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), in partnership with the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, has awarded a contract to Deloitte Consulting LLP to work on the waiver redesign initiative. This initiative will redesign Ohio’s waiver services system that supports people with developmental disabilities and their families to achieve their vision of a good life. 

The result will be the redesign, modernization, and simplification of current processes related to assessments, funding, rate setting, data collection, and establishing individual budgets for Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services Waivers administered by DODD. 

DODD’s decision to take on this large initiative was in response to valuable input and feedback from our community and partners. This work will be a collaborative effort, and DODD will continue to listen to your challenges, wants for the future, and innovative ideas. There will be various opportunities for stakeholders to contribute and stay updated on progress in the coming months.
