Next Board Member Training June 7

Join us for the second of two required in-service trainings for County Board Members, Field Notes: Key Initiatives of the Department from the perspective of individuals, families and other key stakeholders on June 7 from Noon - 1:00 p.m.

Hear powerful stories from the perspective of the person served, families, providers and even county boards on topics like shared living, Remote Monitoring and the successful conversation of an ICF in Licking County.

Take Part in IO Waiver Nursing Training

Effective July 1, 2016, nursing will be a service available through the Individual Options (IO) waiver.

In preparation for this change, DODD will host ten half-day trainings to share information about the IO Waiver Nursing rule, a new nursing task assessment tool and work related to projecting nursing costs. 

The target audience for the training is SSA/SSA Directors and/or Medicaid Managers who directly work with ISP development and cost projecting.

Rule 5123:2-2-01 (Provider Certification)
Requires independent providers and direct services staff of agency providers to complete eight hours of training in accordance with these standards established by the Department. The rule also outlines the qualifications necessary for those who will provide this eight hour training.
For trainers requesting Contrinuing Professional Education/Professional Development (DODD CPDs/CPEs).
