This online training will review the new rule, the principles of person-centered planning, restricted and prohibited measures, and the roles and responsibilities of QIDPs, Human Rights Committees, DODD and others. It is free, available to anyone.
Human Rights Committee – Roles and Responsibilities (15 mins)

This online training reviews the role and the responsibilities of the Human Rights Committee (HRC), as outlined in the Behavioral Support Strategies rule (OAC 5123:2-2-06). It details HRC membership requirements and important components committee members will be asked to evaluate when reviewing strategies that include restrictive measures.

This training conducted by DODD's Office of Provider Standards and Review is open only to county board and COG employees responsible for conducting compliance reviews. Space is limited.
County Board Training: CMS Transition Plan

Level of Care Rule
effective July 1, 2015 requires evaluators to complete training before performing LOC assessments or recommending a level of care.

MUI Registry Unit
These trainings may be specific to providers of County Board staff that support the health, safety and wellness of people who have developmental disabilities

Training for waiver providers focusing on billing processes for the Individual Options, Level 1, and SELF waivers
Person-Centered Foundation Training
This two-day training, offered regionally, is tailored for Count Board and direct care staff to attend together.
Support Broker Training
This training fulfills one of the training and certification requirements needed to provide services – paid or unpaid – outlined in the Support Brokerage rule (OAC 5123:2-9-47)

In order to receive CPD units for attending a Brown-Bag Thursday Webinar, attendees must show an in-session duration (the time an attendee was logged in to the webinar) of at least 75 percent but not greater than 125 percent of the total duration of the webinar.
