October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month
Information about 2012 National Disability Employment Awareness month, including promotional posters, is now available at www.dol.gov/odep/
Each year the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) develops a theme to promote the employment of individuals with disabilities in communities across the nation. The 2014 theme for National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is, "EXPECT. EMPLOY. EMPOWER."
The October 1, 15, and 29 issues of Pipeline will feature employment options, programs, and initiatives within the state and national business community and the developmental disabilities system. Look for more links here, during October.
