ODDP Portal to Be Available to ICF Assessors

Effective Nov. 17, 2017, the new Ohio Developmental Disability Profile (ODDP) portal will be available to certified assessors for intermediate care facilities (ICFs). Access will be granted to those who have an existing user account with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) and have passed the ODDP training test. The email address used for ODDP certification through ProProfs testing must match the email address assigned to the DODD user account in order for the account to automatically be assigned access.

Assessor access to specific providers will need to be granted by the provider CEO or delegator as it currently is for Level of Care (LOC) within the DODD system. If an assessor will be working on multiple providers, they must be assigned to each provider individually by that provider's CEO or delegator. Please be on the lookout for additional instructions and guidance on this process which will be released prior to the portal launch.

If you require access to the ODDP portal and do not currently have an account with DODD, please register here as a provider/ICF evaluator. You will also be required to complete the ODDP training module and pass the post-test with at least an 80 percent in order to gain ODDP portal access. Individuals who have yet to become certified as an ODDP assessor will be able to access the new online ODDP training module here to complete their certification beginning Nov. 3, 2017.

ODDP assessors who have been granted access to a provider by the provider CEO or delegator may begin submitting significant change of condition (SCOC) requests within the ODDP portal effective Nov. 11, 2017, in preparation for the Dec. 31, 2017, Report Period End Date (RPED) submission. The ODDP facility certification dates follow those of the IAF, with the initial submission being due 15 days following the RPED end date and a 30-day grace period following.

Please remember that providers must continue to complete the Individual Assessment Form (IAF) in conjunction with the ODDP for each RPED going forward until official notice is given to discontinue the IAF.
