1099 Forms Available Online for Providers
Attention: Business Managers, Providers
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is sharing some basic tax information for independent and agency providers who are filing their 2018 tax returns.

Please note that DODD cannot answer tax questions, and providers with questions about their taxes will be directed to contact the Internal Revenue Service.
In-Person Training: Using Data Warehouse
Attention: COGs, County Boards
DODD's Data Analytics and Research team will be hosting an in-person training about using Data Warehouse on February 7 from 9 to 11:30 AM for state, county, and council of governments employees who have not previously attended an in-person session.

The training will be held at the State Library of Ohio, 274 E. First Ave., Columbus. Contact abby.hammond@dodd.ohio.gov with questions.
Update: ODDP Reassessments
Attention: ICFs
In an effort to ensure Ohio Developmental Disabilities Profile (ODDP) assessments continue to remain accurate and up-to-date for people's needs, DODD is working to reassess the ODDP for each person residing in an intermediate care facility no later than every three years.
PSM Enhancements Live
Several enhancements to the Provider Services Management (PSM) system are live as of February 4.
Community Transition: Live Chat, Info
Attention: COG Directors, County Boards, Providers, SSAs, SSA Directors, Superintendents
Community Transition, a new waiver service, became effective January 1, 2019, and provides reimbursement of non-recurring household start-up expenses for a person who previously lived in an intermediate care facility or a nursing facility for the past 90 days and is transitioning to enrollment in the Individual Options (IO) Waiver.

LOC Rule Revised, Form Changing
Attention: COG Directors, County Boards, SSAs, Superintendents
Ohio Administrative Code 5123-8-01 , Developmental Disabilities Level of Care, has been revised effective February 14, 2019. The revisions make it permissible for a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) to complete and sign the medical clinician’s verification form (CVF). The revised CVFs have been developed to support the change made to the rule.
